How to Clean Concrete Patios

If you have visible stains on an exterior surface caused by mold, mildew, algae or any other organic material, don’t worry — Lou can help you fix it in 15 minutes. In this video, you will learn how to clean your concrete patio and  outdoor surfaces without a power washer.

A power washer is one of the best tools for cleaning up outdoor areas, but what if you don’t want to use such heavy duty equipment? Fortunately, there are many non-caustic cleaners, like Wet & Forget and Spray & Forget, that can get the job done right.

Not only are these non-caustic cleaners readily available at your local hardware store, but they don’t have bleach and do a terrific job cleaning exterior surfaces. You can use outdoor mold cleaner on almost anything — stone, canvas, brick work, and more. Simply follow the manufacturer’s instructions on how to mix it. Then use a pump sprayer to disperse it strategically.

When applying outdoor surface cleaner to the target area, be on the lookout for plants. If there is any vegetation around the area you are going to spray, wet it down first. Otherwise, simply take your pump sprayer, pump it up, then let it rip. Don’t worry if you are using a pressure washer surface cleaner without a pressure washer. Just remember to wear safety glasses and rubber gloves, and to apply the spray on a dry day.
